I've had this watch for over 8 months now and have worn it almost constantly. It works great, feels very solid, and looks great. It's true the back is slightly more purple than blue, but it's a dark purple and I think it looks good. I took off one star because the black on the band is just painted onto the metal, and it's started to wear just slightly in a couple places. However, I'm sure I could buy some model paint and touch it up. Overall though, this is a great watch.

I owned a Casio before my last watch (a Citizen) died a year ago and decided to try Casio again. After reading dozens of reviews I ordered this Analog-Digital model, and I heartily recommend it as a best buy. It's accurate, stylish, functional, and dependable, with an easily viewed date/time window. The resin strap band is a welcome and comfortable alternative to other watch bands that I find objectionable since they are either made of leather (produced from the skin of cruelly abused and dead animals, no thank you!) or painfully heavy and ill-fitting metal bands. For (eligible for free shipping) you cannot do better than this watch.
